Patrick M. Len has been drawing "Did you know? by NK Particle"(TM) since the Fall of 1986, while a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Nearly 19 years later, Len has since earned a doctoral degree in physics at the University of California, Davis, and is currently teaching introductory physics and astronomy at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA, while keeping semi-active in graphically documenting the trials and tribulations of his cartoon characters, Fray Ormandy(TM) and Waifer X(TM).Previously "Did you know? by NK Particle"(TM) has been featured on the Fray Ormandy Home Page, a Project Cool Sighting in May 1996 by Glenn Davis. Currently Len's work appears at www.waiferx.com, a website concentrating on showcasing the commercial aspects and prospects of his work. Len has recently been profiled by David Weinshilboum for the Davis Enterprise in a cover story in their Weekend supplement.  |
