Here's the press release for the "Crouching Waifer, Hidden Fray" art exhibition that runs through the end of this month: Comic Page Art Exhibition Commemorates Chinese Cultural Heritage UC-Davis alumnus and lecturer Patrick Len presents an exhibition of comic page art at Cafe Roma, 211 "E" Street that runs through the month of April, 2002. "Crouching Waifer, Hidden Fray" is a nine-part comic page art exhibition commemorating Len's Chinese cultural heritage, and a tribute to the genre of cinematic martial arts fables. The dialogue is in English and in Chinese, with English subtitles. Len is the current artist for "Did you know? by NK Particle"TM, a comic strip that has been presented on­line at http://www.waiferx.com/ for the past three years. His artwork has locally appeared in the Sacramento Comic Press News since 1990, and Len has been profiled in the January 28, 1999 issue of the Davis Enterprise Weekend. Len is also a founding content provider with JamBooks!TM, the first (2000) on-line provider of "e-comic books." Len currently teaches introductory physics, part-time at both UC-Davis and at Sonoma State University. He received his Ph.D. in physics from UC-Davis in 1997.
