We got ourselves a new used computer--a Macintosh PowerBook G3/233 that pretty much smokes, no less. Now we have three computers to muck about for work and play. The PowerBook is now innerchild.ucdavis.edu, which was apparently a domain name first reserved by someone in the Department of Psychology, but now it's ours! Yeehah! Our old Peforma 6115CD (which crawls) is waiferx.ucdavis.edu, and our even older PowerBook 170 is at home with some anonymous dynamically-generated IP number. An oldie, but still a goodie, nonetheless.

So what happened to the Bon Mots at the Fray Ormandy Home Page? Well, still on hiatus, we suppose. The old SPARC2 station, alohi.ucdavis.edu is pretty much on its last legs. If it survives the Y2K thing, we'll be mildly surprised. The Bon Mots will return someday, we hope.

So what exactly are we doing these days? Not much. This Pirate X storyline is slowly getting out of hand. Pretty soon it will entail plot turns concerning resentment, regret, cannibalism, and bittersweet unrequited unfulfillment. Don't say we didn't warn you. It's not too late to stock up your basement for the impending cataclysm.
